Our first experience with an all inclusive

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Food was good, especially the desserts in the dinner buffet and the pastries at breakfast. There is a tram to transport you around the resort, but we walked everywhere and enjoyed the flora and fauna all along the way. The beach is beautiful with some snorkeling spots. On our first night, the staff left a fruit basket in the room for us to enjoy. On the last night, we were given a bottle of alcohol (though I don't know what kind, as we do not drink). But the gesture was kind. :)

We checked out the same day.

Our room smelled musty and dirty. Then we moved onto the buffet where the food was inedible. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Okay resort; unlikely to return

The resort setting was beautiful, the pools were fantastic (especially the salt water pool), and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and perfectly adequate. There were always plenty of chairs and umbrellas available at the pools and beach. However, the food was really not good at all. The drinks were pretty bad. The kids "waterpark" was not fun, just a few slides, most of which were so slow you didn't even slide down them. The kids club looked so boring and uninviting that the kids never went. We went to one evening show, a pirate show aimed at kids, and it was laughably bad - the out of sync dancers were actually laughing at themselves during the show because it was so ridiculously bad. And there were lots of little annoyances, like the towel shacks were always out of towels.

Instalações excelentes, atendimento cordial, opções de alimentações fantásticas, cardápio de bebidas robusto e área de praia digna de um destino caribenho. Mas talvez não fosse tão incrível sem o atendimento do Bar do Lobby do The Royal Suites, Lucy e Antônio, do auge de seus mais de 10 anos de experiência, fazem um trabalho realmente excepcional e elevam sua experiência de lazer ao MÁXIMO! Só tenho a agradecê-los!

We stayed here with our three children and we had a great time! Very close to the beach. A very nice pool for the kids with water slides! The food was great and service was excellent! Will definitely come back!

Good beach, bad transportation and food.

The good: great beach with plenty of chairs, shade, palapas and views of ocean. The room was nice with a door to the bedroom giving us privacy from the TV room and kids fold out bed. 2 TV's--one for us and one for the kids. The jacuzzi bathtub was great, had a spray head so could get sand and major dirt off of kids before bath and they loved it. I liked the coffee pot in the room. The maybe: Lots of wildlife (Coati, Agoutis, squirrels, iguanas, raccoons) but was worried about the spread of disease or even attack due to the large number of animal packs. Rabies????? Many people were feeding the loads of animals hanging around the beach and rooms. Cute but wild animals are dangerous to people. The downright bad: Everyone wants a tip, carry lots of small cash. What a pain. The transportation was impossible. Most is reserved for some sort of time share deal they have going on and they do not have any interest in picking up the regular folks. One driver said to us (2 young kids and we are over 65) "it not too far (it was about a ten minute walk) just walk !!!" We had no choice, so we walked. Forget the boat--it is reserved for the time share folks most of the time. The food looked great but tasted terrible most of the time. I'm not sure why. We are veteran Mexican visitors and generally love the food but not here. For example, the rice must have been on display too long and stirred up to incorporate hard overcooked pieces with the rest. To difficult to reserve the restaurants. For the money paid should be easier to have access to restaurants different from the buffet

Quando cheguei fui colocado em um quarto dentro de uma vila que estava em construção. Foi traumatico. Peças e material de construção ficavam espalhados pelos corredores. Tenho fotos que comprovam isso. Depois nos mudaram para um quarto bom.

Un coin de paradis

Détente totale un vrai tout inclus la gentillesse du personnel l animation et les spectacles le soir les piscines gigantesques les animaux en liberté la jungle à proximité des passerelles très bien entretenues ce qui nous incitait à beaucoup marcher heureusement car la nourriture était excellente ...les installations en nombre transats etc...beaucoup de mal à sortir de l hôtel tellement nous nous y sentions bien ....

Very large facility

Found the resort very large . Food was very good and wait staff very helpful. The front desk not very accommodation and sometimes even rude. Overall experience not bad no need to go back.

Not for everyone

Very noisy. Do not expect to be able to go to bed early. Bad food. The only place in Mexico that I got a stomach ache.

Wonderful experience!

We are a family of 5 with a 9yo and twins of 5yo. We just wanted to find a nice place to relax with a kids club to leave the kids for few hours a day. This resort totally exceeded our expectations. The room and all the places at the resort were very clean and functional. The resort had a lot to offer (many restaurants, activities, bars and more). All the people working at the resort were nice, helpful and kind. The kids club offered a lot of fun activities to engage kids of all ages; the manager and all the girls working there were amazing!!! My kids never wanted to leave the place!! We had great time there and I recommend 100% this resort!

Great resort to go to for families.loads to do inresort entertainment team was brilliant.Loads of food and drinks all inclusive.Great beach too and lovely pools.

hotel cerca de mucha diversión

en general es un buen hotel, agradable por sus instalaciones, variedad de comida y eventos artísticos de gran calidad,el único inconveniente, el transporte interior es insuficiente, pero bueno el hotel estaba lleno y desafortunadamente por su ubicación y gran vegetación esta plagado de zancudos, por lo demás excelente

Nice resort but the beds...

I had a great time at the resort, spent most of my time ar the beach side salt water pool. A handful of the restaurants were less than good, the tapa and Italian restaurants were awful. The Brazilian restaurant was amazing as well as mexican and sea side. Staff was very helpful. The rooms were nice but the beds were the worst.

it was a great week. The hotel was nice and everything was easy to get to. La Rocas Bar and the salt water pool were nice and by the room. The food was good and the people were nice and friendly. They were very helpful. We will be going back.

All inclusive on the beach

Great hotel with covered walkways. Has really cool salt water pool with tropical fish swimming in it. Hotel beach borders a reef with lots of places to snorkel. Mini bar in room wasn't the best but you could walk up to a number of bars on the property and get whatever you wanted. Close to Tulum ruins and Xel Ha water park. Good for families or adults only.
