"I have stayed at Fernwood Manor for many years and the standards are always excellent. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is legendary and always freshly cooked. The gardens are immaculate and the poll - devine. I cannot recommend it highly enough ! "

"Oh how lovely to be in a creative environment and enjoy the lovely pottery pieces all over the property. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. We were so appreciative to be able to use the washing machine too.
There are some lovely restaurants a 5 min walk away in Second Avenue.
We will definitely be back next year on our return to Cape Town."
"Excellent location very close to the city as well as main attractions like Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. Our host was extremely gracious and went out of his way to let us in after hours late at night after our flight was delayed and to answer our questions. The on site parking is very handy for our rental car and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this spot for 1-3 travelers looking to see the area! "

"This was an absolutely stunning property. The location, the views, the property itself, the breakfasts and the service were all 5 star. One of the best properties that I have ever stayed at.
Only drawback some may find is that it is a bit out of the way - but with dinner transportation to the CBD and waterfront included and a distance of only 10 minutes. "
