"This - this is the place you want to stay in Costa Rica. A pure treasure!! From the beautifully designed bungalows- landscape- serene pool- relaxing hot tub - fabulous food - AND most gracious host Lolo - a perfect getaway!!!
Enjoy this out of the way - but in so the right place gem of a hotel!!! And yes- Negrita- the pig- along with the dogs… best hotel amenities ever!!! Seriously - don’t think twice- this is what a stay in CR should be!!! Thank you Lolo- you have created a magical place!!!!"
"This property was everything we could ask for. Upon arrival, Brian, the front desk manager gave us a wonderful briefing explaining everything well and the property has a nice beach an easy walk in one direction where the sunset view is incredible. Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. The hotel room was great and the breakfast was perfect, served around the pool area each morning. A very relaxing, accomodating place, I will definitely stay at again when visiting that area "
" Amazing Staff Hampered by Significant Management Failures
I have mixed feelings about our stay. On one hand, the employees were terrific—hardworking, welcoming, and truly dedicated to service. However, the resort is severely poorly managed. We faced daily shortages of basic essentials: no beach towels, pool chairs, bath towels, or even shampoo. The supply issues extended to the bars and restaurants, which were constantly out of staples like coffee, beer, and specific menu items. The staff does their best, but management is failing to provide them with the tools to run a functional resort.
I would not stay here again. "
"Everything!!! We were the only people staying there at the time and got to have the whole place to ourselves. It was a great birthday treat for myself and my partner. 10/10 would go back especially for the dogs: Canela, Chocolate, and Rocky"
"Wonderful staff, even decorated my room for my birthday. Hotel is beautiful, clean, and walking distance to the beach. The pools are lovely, especially the second pool and hot tub."
"This is a great boutique hotel for someone looking for a reclusive and quite stay. It is located in the mountains with gorgeous views. Fyi. The standard room only has one queen size bed. If you're traveling with friends, it is best to book separate rooms unless you want to share a bed. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We are so glad to have chosen LADE."
"The room was nice but dark. I suppose the rooms on the second floor are nicer.
The staff didn’t seems to like their job. Or tired of girats maybe.
Nice pool area. Note that this is a family hotel. It is not a calm romantic place.
Breakfast was poor.
I think that americans are the target for this hotel. "
