"We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. "Super friendly and quick check in. Prompt room change when the room key wasn't working. Excellent spa facilities - notably the thermal pool. "A lovely place to stay no doubt. We had a comfortable 3 nights stay. The staff were lovely. The location was amazing. The rooms were a bit small. We did have a cotbed but it could still be a bit bigger for the kind of hotel it is. The mattress were a bit on the harder side for our liking but it depends on what you are used to. "Overall very comfortable stay. At check in, the layout of rooms could have been explained. It took us two days to work out the quickest and easiest way to our room. Breakfast was a first class buffet. "What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. There is a spacious dining room and well stocked bar. You won't go away hungry as the food is excellent with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a must visit! "

"This is a repeat trip to this hotel. set in the glorious countryside of Grasmere.
