"It was central to all the restaurants and breweries in the midtown area but not in downtown. Sacramento had a fun restaurant and bar scene. Definitely would go back. We enjoyed the star lounge, the drinks were great. Breakfast was complimentary and it was all good. Coffee was from a local coffee place Temple and that was good. "

"I found this hotel convenient right across from Amtrak train station and across the street from Old Sacramento tourist area with Joe's Crab Shack on the river with the golden bridge view. I'll be staying here again for my weekends of warmth out of cold San Francisco."

"Rooms are dark and likely to hide the dirt. The air quality in room was bad and I coughed all night. The photos and reality were not the same by any means. Expecred a king, but was double that didnt fit room. Windows were aluminum and could hear even the hum of electric vehicles parking. Noisy room. Breakfast was great. The staff was very nice. Parking seemed adequate (I didnt bring car but since the parking was partially under the room i could see and hear them. Each person getting out of their cars. "

"Everything was fine except the bistro. The hamburger my husband ordered was over salted over cooked and took 30 minutes. My sandwich sat ready the home time we waited. We we’re told 15 minutes and it was more like 30."

"The staff was really nice and helpful with my question over the phone about checking in late. I also found the room really comfortable and clean. The whole hotel is really a vibe because it’s clean and luxurious but also is in a historic building. It was a good location as well around different parts of downtown and walkable. I really enjoyed the brunch, and also the complementary water bottles and coffee ! The staff at the front desk were super friendly too and made me feel welcome ! Literally one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at."

"Almost everything in my room was broken. My door to my room wouldn’t shut and lock, unless from the outside pulling hard in the handle. The tv remote only controls the tv guide, no way to adjust the volume or turn off the tv. The sliding door for the shower doesn’t work, I was struggling to open and close it in the shower. Also the front desk lady just felt very miserable and didn’t want to be there (honestly don’t blame her) all in all it was ok for the 80$ but wouldn’t stay again "
