"Nice hotel, pleasant staff and good rooms. Let down massively by the restaurant - overpriced, poor food and long waits even when not busy. Stay elsewhere if you plan on having dinner also"

"Beautiful views, excellent food and really lovely staff. After checking in, I ordered food from the restaurant staff. The gentleman who took my order (his name may have been Nigel, his hair was in a ponytail), was so pleasant and his smile was genuine, something that in turn made me smile, not easy after a 30 hour working day. The room was also lovely with views towards Edinburgh and I hadn’t booked anything fancy. In the morning, the buffet breakfast was great with lots of fresh food being brought out by some more lovely staff. I’ve never left a review before so I hope it means something to someone reading this. If I have to stay in Edinburgh again, I’ll be hoping I can get a room here."

"The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels by the bed. The staff was kind and accommodating. The breakfast is worth it so please make sure you have breakfast there every day. We had dinner once there and it was fresh and delicious. "

"We did not purchase an overpriced Continental breakfast Rooms were very adequate and efficiently appointed but bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Not having shuttle service to airport with heavy bags was unimpressive."

"Newly opened restaurant is lovely, beautiful view and nice breakfast. Location of hotel is very central and convenient for walking everywhere. Rooms are smaller and quite basic and could use some attention to a few maintenance type details, but overall a decent spot and an excellent location "

"The suite was clean and well set up. It was a little confusing that it wasn’t at the main address provided but the instructions from staff were easy to follow. The unit included lots of instructions for how to operate things including the heating. Overall a comfortable stay."
