Cedar Court Harrogate

"Room was nice and clean, with a few marks on the carpet, which looked like where furniture had been previously, so not dirty. Room was quite small and only had sky light windows, which did allow a good deal of light into the room, but unable to look out of the window as you would in a normal window, which is shame as the hotel is in lovely location in Harrogate. Bed very comfy and tea and coffee facilities , which you could refresh at reception if you needed. Did also have a complimentary biscuit each and although very nice, was probably the smallest biscuit ever!! Good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast and topped up regularly, with staff very friendly and helpful, if you had any requests or queries. Only had one drink in the bar on the night and reasonable, when comparing to hotel prices. This is the second time we’re have stayed at cedar court and there have greatly improved the downstairs facilities, with the breakfast seating area a very pleasant place to eat. Would stay there again in future."

"Perfectly situated in centre of town. Useful parking at the back, through unmarked door with stairs to reception on the first floor. More stairs from lift to bedroom on second floor. Many thanks to the reception staff who carried my bag."

"Nice Hotel with lots of parking, but if arriving late may have to park on street. Hotel only 4 min walk downhill to the city center, very handy. Building could be doing with some TLC, management do agree, notices saying bare with them its a work in progress. Building has so much character and beautiful stained glass windows. Staff, great, very approachable and helpful. Singer entertainer and Disco at weekend. Breakfast usual cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice, fruit, toast. Also served cooked buffet. All very tasty. Good value, for being so close to town."

"My husband and myself had a comfort double which was 'cosy' but clean and comfortable - after all we were only going to sleep in it anyway! I was slightly disappointed to note that there was no bottled water in the room on either of the nights we were there, whereas my son and his family were in a family room further down the corridor and had complimentary bottled Harrogate water - not sure if this was because his room was dearer than ours? The location was great and we will likely stay here again- we know Harrogate well - our daughter lives there - only visit if you don't mind hills - everything is either up a hill or down a hill!! We didn't use the restaurant as we were there to attend a function elsewhere but the food looked lovely We did use the bar and considering the prices in other licenced houses in Harrogate we found the drinks to be very reasonably priced - and the bar staff were very helpful and attentive"
