"Lovely rooms, central for trains and city centre, but quiet."

"I stayed in this hotel in Exeter Oct 26-29. The woman who checked me in could not seem less happy to see me or in in checking me in. My room was lovely and quiet and clean... until I lost something and looked under the bed where there were someone's dirty underwear, a pair of glasses and God knows what else amidst an inch of dust. "excellent "

"A little gem. We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Beautifully decorated, nice furnishings, comfortable bad and bedding. It's a small inn with 11 rooms so no lifts and no miles of corridors (perfect for me). We had a very good dinner in the restaurant so there was no need to walk back into the city centre. Breakfast was very good, the hot food was served so freshly cooked rather than buffet. All staff were friendly and helpful. The free, convenient parking was a bonus."

"Lovely hotel in the heart of Exeter"

"Good old style hotel directly opposite Exeter Central station. Room was huge. We have stayed here before and would do again."

"Room was well furnished and had everything we needed including a bottle opener, wine glass, even a hot water bottle! Bed was comfy and there was a really useful folder of info in the room, the owner had included a few suggested walks around the property which was great and we did one of them just to stretch our legs. Ample parking, and the property was very well kept, no issues with noise or anything from the farm we were attached to. Loved the fact the owner offered proper milk for the rooms...

"Perfect idyllic spot with a beautiful, comfortable and luxurious Lodge. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat. "
