"Great view with snowcapped mountain plus great service and breakfast. It is in the middle station from Grindelwald to First where you can go trekking. We love the flower trails. Just you have to add on your budget for the cable from Grindelwald to First round trip of CHF 57 for 2 adults with Swiss Pass(children aged below 16 free if travel with parent). This saves time if time is limited for you. Option is to walk from Grindelwald to hotel and from hotel to First but it takes time."

"Tout a été excellent. Nourriture, emplacement , autobus. Petite note: nous sommes non fumeurs. Notre chambre était située directement au dessus de la terrasse du resto. Évidemment nous voulions avec vue sur le lac. Nous dormons toujours la fenêtre porte ouverte. En soirée vers les 22-23 heures la fumée des fumeurs de la terrasses est très très désagréable . Nous avons fermé notre porte. Une chance qu’il ne faisait pas chaud."

Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. "Our stay at this resort was very disappointing and far from what we expected from a holiday destination. Check-in starts at 4 pm while check-out is at 10 am, leaving guests with limited time to enjoy their stay. On arrival, many guests were left sitting in the scorching sun waiting for someone to appear at reception, as staff are only available during designated hours despite this being a large resort.
