Cabañas Lunas del Poas

Cabañas Lunas del Poas

10/10 Excellent
"The cabins are gated and we felt very safe there with our children. The pleasant temperature was a welcome reprieve from the costal heat and humidity. Different tours of coffee plantations, the Poas volcano and the La Paz waterfall and animal parks are within easy driving distance. The Waze app got us wherever we needed to go. The grounds are beautiful! The cabin was rustic, but we had everything we needed (locking front door, warm beds, shower with soap/shampoo, kitchenette, and even a fireplace stocked with wood). Shower water was warm but not hot--as is to be expected in many places in Costa Rica. The standout feature here was the hospitality we received from the caretakers Marlon & Jessica. They were available, attentive, easy to get ahold of, and really wanted our stay to be the best they could provide. They provided restaurant/food options and even arranged a local cafe to deliver dinner to us on the property after dark! For the price we received great value."
