"We had a wonderful stay! Our room was super clean. Staff was lovely. We didn't use the onsite amenities: pool, restaurant, etc as we explored the area. It is in an ideal location. Lots of local places to eat and it is close to the highway. Very convenient for Universal. We will definitely be back!"

"Short Stories is always my go to hotel while visiting Los Angeles. I find it fairly central (between Beverly Hills and Downtown LA) to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. The hotel sits on a busy street, but you wouldn't know based on the courtyard that gives the hotel a tranquil feel."
