"Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had.
I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines.
Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening.
Other than that, we were satisfied."

"We were walking the wales coast path and had not factored in the demand around Cardiff for accommodation when concerts are on. The student accommodation was the only reasonable priced option we could get for the weekend ( still more expensive than a premier inn) The main issue was heat, the room was very warm, a fan was provided but the window is only open a few issues (H&S) therefore circulating warm air. "I had a great stay at this hotel for the night.
Very clean, comfortable beds. Clean shower. Could connect to the TV to watch the likes of YouTube or watch normal channels. Room service, although I didn't use this. A lovely restaurant with lovely food..and the staff were fantastic. Even checked me in an hour early.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay and I highly recommend booking."

"Clean and tidy room
No air conditioner it was extremely hot over 31 degrees celsius and the window could not be opened due to a window safety cable. We had to cut our stay shorts it was just too hot and we could not sleep in the room. Very stuffy fan just circulated hot air. Very disappointing thought Best Western had a minimum standard across the chain this one certainly did not compare to others....."

"Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message.
Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays.
Golf course looked nice though"

"Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much.
Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use.
Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable
No bar as closed.
WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place.
