Dorsett Gold Coast

"Great !!"

RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast
10/10 Excellent
"Pool was great, just know there are lots of kids around."

Mercure Gold Coast Resort
6/10 Okay
"The oasis pool and spa would’ve been enjoyable if they were open! The biggest disappoint of our trip. We specifically picked Mercure for the big pool and spa, we were not notified at all that it would be closed during our stay, otherwise we would’ve cancelled and found something else. A special thanks to one of the managers Sophie who gifted wine and chocolates after hearing our disappointment. Overall a good stay, generally clean, great buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The bathroom could do with a revamp and the vent in the room definitely needs a good clean as it constantly blew dust. If the oasis pool is open I’d recommend Mercure. "

Meriton Suites Broadbeach, Gold Coast
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, large sized room. Indoor and outdoor pools and spas. Affordable parking. Beach Views. Close to Pac Fair, Casino and Broadbeach shops and restaurants. Close to the light rail. All in all perfect stay! Would stay here again and again!"

The Star Grand at The Star Gold Coast

Novotel Surfers Paradise

"Yes the ocean was visible from my room"

Paradise Resort Gold Coast
4/10 Poor
"This property is clearly outdated. It charges similar price as nearby high rise hotel. Clearly it needs renovations."

The Langham, Gold Coast and Jewel Residences
10/10 Excellent
"An unexpected and delightful last minute stay at the Langham was the result of a much anticipated but disastrous VRBO beach house booking. Grateful for a wonderful in every way stay. The sunrise seen from our ocean view room was spectacular and started our day just right. I love the balcony. "

Voco Gold Coast
2/10 Terrible
"Check in was excellent, was given a letter saying there was maintenance being done and there would be no water from 11pm till 4 am. No drama there. Got back from dinner around 9 and heard a noise didn’t think much of it till I got into bed and the noise continued. It was a loud drilling sound. After about and hour of this I rang reception to see what was going on. They said they were preparing for the maintenance I asked how long it was going to go on they said they’d call me back. The noise continued on and off for the next hour so I rang again. The attitude was pretty much too bad and I could change rooms, yes change room from the deluxe king ocean view room I paid for to a standard room then move back the following day. No offer of any compensation no offer of anything. I was unpacked and my assistance dog was sound asleep we’d been up since 4am so at 11pm it wasnt an option I wanted to take. The drilling continued and I rang again and got pretty much the same answer and attitude. I asked if there were other complaints and they said yes. nThe whole point of this is if they had scheduled maintenance why book rooms that were going to be effected. Pure Greed as far as I’m concerned. I also could plug the jug or coffee machine in next morning. I’d plug them in turn on and the plug would slowly slide out and appliances stopped working. There was also lots of mould in the shower and on air con. Mentioned the noise on checkout and all I got was oh sorry about that. Never again!"
