Great central location, perfect for enjoying the local amenities and access to Glasgow Central Station and Queen Street station. We overlooked the main road, so it was a bit busy/ noisy at times but the clean, well laid out aparthotel made up for it - comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a well set up kitchen and living area made for a super comfortable stay for us as we day tripped around Glasgow and Edinburgh.

We were happy to have someone waiting, as we arrived later than expected. Apartment was clean and in fair shape, although carpeting needs replacing. All amenities in kitchen good. En suite shower was tricky to work, as button in shower was broken, and entire unit relied on using switch on outside of bathroom. No door on shower, only shower curtain, which was not always effective in keeping floor dry.

The apartment itself was quite nice and very spacious for three of us. It was clean and outfitted well enough. As appliances in the UK are different from those in North America it would be helpful to have some manuals, especially since the numbers were worn off the buttons on the hob. The area outside was noisy so no sleeping with the windows open. It’s a busy area as near train station which could be very convenient if travelling on trains, but it felt a little less safe late at night. There is limited parking at the site and as far as I could see on the Expedia site there was no indication that you need to call ahead to reserve a spot which. This was frustrating as we only managed to get parking for one night. However there is a lot across the street (more expensive). Overall though it was a good stay.

This building is VERY tired. The unit itself was a bit better than the public areas but neither were particularly clean. It’s quite noisy and pillows were the very worst I’ve ever used. This made for less than optimal sleeping conditions despite a fairly comfortable bed. On the high side, the reception staff were quite helpful and very responsive to requests.

Check in was a complete nightmare, hotel front desk was in a different building then advertised Front desk was no help unless u beg them to help. Never would I recommend this place Stay away. Room is dirty , hotel is in a dirty part of town.

Place is ok, although address doesn’t match one on hotels.com Demanded a second payment directly to them, even tho I pre paid with hotels.com - as yet have not refunded a week on Took £100 deposit, also has been a battle to get that back Would nkt reccomened, feel like I’ve been scammed

Couldn't access room - no response from reception

I was due to stay at V City Aparthotels and called the phone number for over three hours when I arrived but no one answered. I also tried to call another phone number and message via hotels.com but received no response. I am a woman travelling on my own and was in an unfamiliar city and had no way of accessing the building or getting the keys to the accommodation. After three hours, as it was now dark, I booked somewhere else to stay. V City Aparthotels are still refusing to offer me a refund for this experience.
