Everything was great - staff was wonderful and accommodating, breakfast was excellent, the pool was clean, and the property was well maintained and safe. I felt bad for the employees because I witnessed a lot of guests with terrible attitudes being extremely picky and complaining over very minute things (or even things that were avoidable on the guests part) so if you see poor reviews about the staff I would ignore them. This place was an excellent, family friendly, value stay.

Breakfast is amazing!! I love the healthy options like almond milk and Chobani yogurt. Dining area is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have a pancake machine that works with a simple wave of your hand. The rooms are clean and comfortable plus the kitchenette is well-stocked with utensils, dishwater and pots & pans. I would highly recommend this Sonesta ES to anyone staying in the Orange county area

I absolutely loved my spacious apartment room. The layout is perfect, nice bathroom, great kitchen, living room area with large built-in desk overlooking a large window, good closet. Easy convenient parking. The laundry facility was a short walk away in the center of the complex pool/BBQ/garden area and was easy to use (bring your own detergent). I stayed 10 nights and loved it. I did not use the pool, gym, or included breakfast.

This was our second stay, both times in the same building. The 2 bedroom layout was great for us with 2 kids, lots of room to accommodate different bed times and love having the kitchen. The water was hammering at first and the kitchen was missing baking sheets and oven mitts but those were minor. Breakfast is great and the front staff were very friendly, even helping us by holding some baby equipment we rented that was dropped off and picked up when we weren't there. We still haven't checked out the gym, pool, or laundry, but it's I'll definitely consider this hotel again if we're back.

Initially our room was situated between a highway and a major road. It was extremely loud. We requested that we be moved and the staff were very accommodating. However, we were moved into a room that had apparently just been steam cleaned. The scent of the soap used which I assume is a pet odor reducing shampoo was nauseating and we had to keep the door open as much as possible the first two days. The carpet was soaked and maintenance had to bring us a high powered fan to assist in drying it. The staff were great! Breakfast was quite limited. The pool was clean but very cold. The hot tub was shut down by order of the health department our first 3 days. Our last several days were fine.

While the location and room set up was perfect for us, the cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. From the dirty spoon left in the garbage disposal from the prior guests to the old coffee pod left in the coffee pot to the hard crusted who knows what (black) on the bathroom counter and the very dirty carpets - it was a shame! The Sonesta is a good hotel chain but I feel that whomever is managing this particular location is not investing in keeping the hotel clean. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this location and will not be back.

It was a good sized room with kitchen in FV/HB area, for the price. Front desk and maintenance staff were nice. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The grounds looked pretty well kept too. The furnishings, appliances, drapes and floors were a little worn out and dingy looking, and the lighting could’ve been better. I would stay there again, because of convenience and good price.
