"The apartment is very spacious and it is safe as there is a secure entrance into the private courtyard. The appliances are great as are the washrooms. The communication with the property is all done online and is professional and clear. If you need something they are quick to reply. My only feedback is that the furniture looks used and is a bit stained, and you are expected to bring out your garbage and recycling but you are left with no bags to do so. "This property is in a quiet street off the main old part of faro. We used it for just sleeping and swimming as there are many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance, but I think you order the night before if you want breakfast. Very attentive but discreet staff who cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels daily. We were there in 30 degree heat, so the air conditioning was a must. Faro is a lovely city to stay in if you want a low key stay and an inexpensive boat ferry can take you across the lagoon to faro beach. When there head left for tranquility. Many people go to the Algarve for the larger beach resorts but we don’t. We came across the city’s food festival one evening, on the far side of the old city, and seemed to be the only brits there. Opus One has huge rooms with enormous cupboard space and luxury bathrooms. Will definitely go again. Easy journey from airport and a local bus no 16 that takes you to the airport or beach, if you don’t take the ferry."
