"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. "Was over for a wedding at nearby Dodford. Well located and more budget friendly. Despite this, amenities are great. Good pool and gym in separate building, nice lounge. Drinks on the expensive side, but food fair for the standard. Main reason for very favourable review was the staff, who were accommodating, friendly and wanting to please. Would return if in the area"

"Two night stay for my partner and I as we were attending a couple of events at The Roadmender. Only a 5 mins walk straight down the road to the venue! Hotel on the outskirts of the town centre, shops, restaurants, bars, takeaways- spoilt for choice all within a few minutes walk. Nice clean room, comfy bed, hot powerful shower, food and drinks available 24/7 and friendly, helpful staff- always ready to greet you with a smile. What more could you want! We would definitely stay again."
