Great location in New Town with Old Town just few walkable minutes away. Tram & main train station nearby. Could enjoy Fringe, Tatoo, Film and Book festivals and come back to comfortable space. Loved the secret garden. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Sonder Royal Garden!

I originally thought that I had reserved a suite with more beds. It worked out well anyway. The suite was comfortable and pleasant. I loved looking out over the garden. We actually saw two foxes hanging out in the garden. The staff was kind and helpful.

Central location. Easy access, felt secure and safe. Apartment was clean. Down side was the fire alarm going off at 8am on Monday morning. No fault of anyone’s just a sharp Wake up call.

Perfect!

Exceeded our expectations. We were worried as we booked a windowless room at basement level. It was large, bright and spotlessly clean so didn’t feel at all claustrophobic. It was also very quiet so never disturbed at night. The apartment was very well equipped and all you need for a self-catering trip.

Best place to stay in Edinburgh.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had everything needed for an extended stay (washer, dryer, and full kitchen, and a gloriously large soaking tub).The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see with great food and bars less than a block away. It was super close to the main bus and tram terminal for easy transport to and from the airport and points further out. Final bonus: the private garden with access to the large Queens Garden. This space felt like a place out of time and provided an oasis of greenery.
