"The room was clean. Some cleaning detail was missed like dusty legs on the stool. Staff were friendly enough. Limited interaction but there was no need for much more. Breakfast very limited. Literally only coffee, activia yogurt two Flavours, dry bagels and bread and some jam and butter. Some cream cheese. Central area but quite scary with a number of illegal trade going on of fake goods. A number of police raids. Homeless people. Building had exterior building works so very noisy. NY being NY lots of people and traffic noise. "

"The actual setup of the room is perfect for a solo traveler. Cozy, pod-style, comfy bed. Climate control. Lighting / mood control. Blackouts. - Got great sleep Big window next to the bed with amazing sunlight and views in the morning. I was in and out, so didn’t get to try the breakfast. The check-in and check-out processes were quick and easy - all at kiosks. Trendy designs for the room. Great location next to SoHo, Nolita, East Village, etc - shops and food super accessible. Only downside: lobby, halls, and room could’ve been cleaner. I found some hair in the far corner of the bed. There was something on one of the towels so I didn’t use it - used the other one. There could be improvement in cleanliness. Overall, I had an amazing stay and would recommend. Will be my go-to place whenever I come to NYC solo. "

"Wonderful stay at The Beekman and exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly accommodating with my request for a room with a specific view and the room itself was clean and incredibly unique and eclectic. The bed was lovely, breakfast was scrumptious, and overall I loved my stay here and will certainly be back."

"Good location. If there would’ve been a small fridge, it would’ve been 5 stars. Bed was comfortable and AC was COLD! shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers. Blankets on bed were also impressive. Hot chocolate at night. Coffee and tea with cookies in the morning. Microwave is in lobby. "

"Tiny rooms like a cruise ship. Beds on platform against window require either inside sleeper to get out of bed and step down from platform or crawl over partner."

"The hotel was honestly mediocre. The location was the greatest asset. My biggest complaints are maintenance and cleanliness related. One of my pillowcases had noticeable staining and soiling, and the bedspread had a small stain. The shower curtain was cut off weirdly at the bottom making it difficult to keep in place. The bathtub had been poorly refinished. The bathroom mirror light was very dim and blue hued -which was odd. The bathroom didn’t seem to have an exhaust fan or ventilation either. The windows didn’t open at all, and since there was no ventilation in the bathroom when I took a shower the entire hotel room would get filled with steam. The staff were nice, no complaints there."

"We were in New York for a quick vacation. We stayed in the king room with the outdoor terrace. The view was amazing!! Room was clean. Highly recommend"
