"Have stayed at the hotel the last 4 years and have noticed a vast difference. Although room service is advertised, which you need to let reception know about beforehand, the housekeeper said that they would only supply what we needed eg. change towels, give sheets, tea, coffee , empty bins etc. The rooms are not cleaned daily as they used to or beds made up Also, me and my husband have always booked the Superior Double Room with 1 King size bed with seaview. "Entrance hall was welcoming but stair carpet to upper floors needs cleaning. Room was large and bright. Voile curtain had a large rip in it, door was difficult to lock with the key when leaving the room for the day. A comfortable chair instead of the chaise lounge would have been more comfortable. Shower was large and worked well, care needed on wet floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"No one should go to this hotel. The whole place is filthy, curtains are dirty, PG pools all over the windows and balcony and you will be breathing only damp. What they put on the website is completely scam. Showers are dirty, toilet are old with flushing not working. Drug addict sits on the stairs at nights with no receptionist after 10pm very unsafe. Due to the above reasons I have to check out on the next day although l booked for two days because my children will not have another night at...

"The property was just across the road from the sea. We had great views from our 3rd room floor. The outside look bedraggled with peeling paint. The entrance was sparse but clean , and smelt nice . Initially there was nobody to book us in . A member of staff just happened to come in and book us in. We had help with the door access codes. Booking in was easy. "The lady on reception was friendly and helpful and our room was ready early so we could go to our room before 3pm. Lovely reception, bar and restaurant area. Very new but in keeping with the building. Great location. And parking at the old NCP car park a few minutes walk away just a shame its not up to NCP standards."

"I specifically booked this hotel because it has a lift and my mum cannot do stairs. We were attending a special family celebration and wanted to stay the night to make a weekend of it. When we arrived at the hotel, the lift was broken - the steps to the first floor were exceedingly steep and narrow - my poor mum was absolutely unable to climb them. There were no ground floor rooms available so we had to cancel the booking and are going through the Expedia complaints process to get a refund....

"This is a well reasonably maintained property and excellent value for money. Bedroom and bed were comfortable with decent sized enough suite room with a shower. Check in was good and actually checked in an hour early."
