"It was my first time using digital passkey so it was a little confusing but nice way of going in and out. The room was clean and subtle. Bathroom was really nice. We came late night it would have been nice to have free bottled water In the fridges just like the complementary tea/coffee is provided as the places.around the area is closed. "This is a quality hotel. Our standard room, which was on the second floor, accessible by lift, was spacious with a very comfortable double bed. In addition to a excellent walk in shower, it had a separate toilet. It has an excellent location, being on the main square and within walking distance of the major sites, including the harbour. "We had an excellent time at this hotel. Staff was the best. Very helpful and friendly. Rooms were quite spacious, with lots of storage, a full length mirror and great bathroom space. Pillows and bed were a bit soft if you’re not used to that. Great central location, in walking distance to the train, plenty of restaurants, and a great cafe (Maya). Plus it was super cool to look at. "

"The surrounding area is not very attractive. It's close to the train station so commute to the city center is quick. But there is not much around the hotel. There aren't any coffee shops, restaurants etc. The area feels kind of abandoned. The hotel is nice and rooms are decent. Had I known what was in the surrounding area I would probably stay in the city as a first timer to Amsterdam. "

"This hotel is lovely! The staff were all so kind and treated us very well. There is free coffee and juice in the lobby which was a nice surprise. Beds are very spacious and the AC was a godsend in the August heat. The only thing that is tricky is that the Zaandam train station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the area is not very well lit.
