"What an enjoyable stay at Holland House! Super cute, very friendly staff and food and drinks were amazing! My only regret was I didn’t book for a longer stay! The hotel is right on the boardwalk in front of a beautiful beach on the dutch side of the island. You can walk to shopping and restaurants. Things do close early on that side but hop in a taxi to the French side of the island to great restaurants and entertainment! I will return soon! What a great change from the large chain...

"Convenient location, affordable room supplied with comfortable beds and thick, fluffy towels. Trade-offs: The wifi is slow, and the walls do not cancel ambient street noise including a very vocal rooster. Thinking of it as charm rather than annoyance helps."

"The rooms were nicely renovated and relatively clean. The location and beach area are also nicely renovated. However, the food service leaves a lot to be desired. The food itself is not bad but the menu options are limited and the restaurant sizes and staffing appear inadequate to serve such a large property. We were made to wait for 1 1/2 hours after we ordered a simple lunch of tacos and tostadas at the Shack. At Gizmo’s we were refused to be served food for an 8 PM dinner apparently because...

"Absolutely beautiful beach!! Hotel has beach front access. That alone was worth the stay. Great breakfast buffet. Mexican themed with international flavour . Great dining options . Close to water sports. Room looks out on Simpson Bay- absolutely beautiful!! See planes take off. Quiet and peaceful . I would absolutely recommend this resort."
