"A great property with lovely facilities and modern, clean styling, Wonderful location with the Abbey over the road and a pretty little town full of boutiques and shops a short walk away. Everything you'd need for a homestay style getaway with a well stocked (for utentsils) kitchenette in the room. Only small issue is the front main door needing to be slammed to close properly when people were leaving to go out."

"Spa facilities needs an update, would be great to see a walking path for non-golfer guests to enjoy the grounds, also brasserie has very low rating 2.5/5 , room service is well so expensive, margarita pizza is £18.00 + £5 room service charge. Rest is fantastic, good location, great grounds, enough to eat and drink"

"Great place, good food and very generous portions. Could use some better amenities in the room, coffee machine etc . Comfortable bed, great view. Great bar with lots of choice. Epic food and comfortable rooms. Food smells from kitchen hits the rooms which is a bit of a negative. Nether the less positives outweigh the negatives and will stay again"

"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt even though I arrived in the middle of a heatwave. Breakfast is served in the bar area. Breakfast is paid for separately on a menu basis. There is a good choice of items available. I ate at the bar on the four evenings I was there. Again there was a choice of items available and portions were more than adequate. The atmosphere is very much that of the local village pub. Highly recommended. I chose the place purely on location, as I wanted to visit different locations in the county. If I visit the area again I would certainly consider staying here!"
