"Well it wasn't ideal for my family there were some disturbances that the front desk chose to ignore in the middle of the night. We should have definitely stayed elsewhere. The location wasn't horrible but you can tell it was certainly not luxury and the beds were uncomfortable"

"As in old houses, there is a musty smell in the hall leading to our bedroom, breakfast was really not great, since there is no kitchen onsite, there are breakfast sandwiches that can be heated in microwave, granola bars, some fruit. Our room was clean, and bed was comfy."

"This is our go to place to stay whenever we visit Newport (which is often). The rooms ate spacious and clean. The beds really comfy and service is outstanding. Great views of the beach band ample parking. Love it"

"Very close to Newport, well maintained property. Staff was pleasant ; did not have a chance to use the pool; breakfast offered a variety of options; all day coffee and tea options, as well as a water machine. Did not like the coffee so I opted for black tea instead. Room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows. It was nice to hear the cricket, it had a soothing effect. I will definitely stay there again when in the area."

"Staff including Meredith bellboys front desk restaurant were great. Rooms and bathrooms were small and outdated and very expensive for what they offered . Great views and great location. Overall I would not recommend this hotel."

"It was clean and the staff was friendly BUT 1) during the complimentary breakfast I peeled an orange and it was BLACK in the middle and the apples were so soft that they had to be out for 2 weeks 2) every night there was noise from next door and every morning noise from above despite the fact that the place was much less than half full 3) asked the person at desk for very basic information and she told me she had just moved there and knew nothing (she was friendly though)."

"The staff was pleasant but not enough to overcome the terrible smell in the hallway and landing, the exterior door that didn’t close, and the filthy stairway. This all felt like things we could overlook on a short stay, but on our second night our room was infested with cockroaches and there were silverfish in the bath. Had it not already been midnight when we started to feel the bugs skittering across the pillow, we would have left immediately. We paid way too much for these unacceptable...
