"A nice property by the port with beautiful mountain views at breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was snowed in for a few days but it was just perfect, you are invited to help yourself to coffee in the dining room anytime and made to feel at home. I booked one of the small single rooms which had a very comfy bed and a nice view of the fishing boats."

"Spacious and clean rooms, well equipped for a relaxing stay. Lovely views of the bay from the top floor restaurant. Wide selection of food for breakfast, eggs can be made to order. Dinner was a decent meal and reasonably priced given the location. There is a shuttle bus to and from the airport which is free. Need to book with reception the night prior to departing. The two larger supermarkets are about a 5 min walk from the hotel. Also an easy 10-15 min walk to the icefjord center."

"Very convenient to get to the main part of town. Rooms adequately equipped for a short stay. Hotel has two entrances so if you call a taxi it’s up to you to work out which entry they will arrive at. If leaving luggage on departure to collect later in the day you need cash to operate the lockers storage on the lower floor. Reception give you the key and you store it yourself. "

"Our stay at Hotel Nordbo was amazing! We loved the staff especially Nancy from the kitchen /restaurant! Very personable and extremely accommodating! Good location, clean apartment, pretty good food, ease of making transportation arrangements. Will definitely come back !!!"

"Stayed in one of the cabins which was wonderful. Very spacious, heated floors and gorgeous views. The only downside was getting to the room, as they are outside you need to walk along the external footpath, parts of which are stone/gravel and very uneven to reach the wooden path. It was quite difficult getting a heavy suitcase up the stairs in the freezing cold. Staff were friendly, food was excellent and there is also a free shuttle to and from the airport. Make sure you book with reception the night prior to departure. Approx 20 min to walk into town or you can get the bus or order a taxi at reception. The bus timetable is displayed at the reception desk. "

"Clean, modern, spacious rooms and bathroom. Nice hotel with amazing views of the icebergs and sunsets, both which can be seen from the balcony of the hotel. Staff was friendly. The tour operator that was part of the hotel was great as well, I booked two tours through them and they really looked after all of us! "

"Feels like a converted man-camp. It's clean, warm, and unpretentious. It's also joined to the airport which makes logistics beyond easy. It's not luxury, but if you want a clean, warm, room, that is easy logistics, this is your ticket. I'd stay there again."
