"Not very good. Terrible staffing. Lifts out of date and very small. Bedroom average. The whole place could do with a refit."

"The room was clean but it’s the smallest bed I’ve ever seen. Shower"

"Was. Cheap free parking"

"Parking was a bit of a problem. Free on site parking impossible"

"Clean room and not far from city and station & beach"

"The staff were super helpful and friendly and the hotel was lovely and in a great location for walking around and exploring Folkstone and the beach!"

"Beautiful old building, with a slightly tired interior. We had a big, somewhat quirky, room with a nice view. The location, right across from the waterfront, was great. Not especially close to the train station, but still walkable (we did it). Breakfast was good."

"Clean room and breakfast"

"Ich kontrolliere das Zimmer immer zuerst auf Sauberkeit. Im 1. Zimmer war leider Bettwäsche mit Blutflecken aufgezogen, sodass ich das Zimmer wechseln musste. "We had a short stay the night before getting Le Shuttle early the next morning. It is very close to the terminal (10min drive). We had an issue with our key card but the front desk staff were helpful and sorted it out. Good buffet breakfast included."

"Tv and light in our room didnt work decorating materials in reception. Room and bathroom clean, towels ancient and thin terrible breakfast"

"Lots of stairs"

"The hotel location is great the hotel is a little old but that adds to the charm, however the staff are outstanding with the breakfast team especially being cheerful smiling all morning. The breakfast was better than we expected, and we will definitely stop her again."

"Clean, functional, good value and a central location."

"Even though the hotel pictures made the building look up and together. It was very tired and in want of some TLC. The carpark adjacent to the hotel entrance was limited to 3 hours. Obviously the local authority runs this facility, but it would help if the carpark was twenty four seven. Luckily, I was down for the weekend for the Rowing Championships and managed to park for free along by Deal Rowing Club."
