"BENEDICTINE FAMILIES STAY AWAY! The smell of death in the parking lot should've been our first hint that this was no slice of heaven. We proceeded to the check in desk. The attendant, in her pajamas, helped a man paying for an additional week's stay. She ignored us, clicking slowly on her computer mouse, no eye-contact. I was about to interrupt her game of solitaire when she dead-panned, "may I help you." It was not a question. My teen daughter and I decided to join my son for freshman move-in....

"My wife and I will never stay there again. The desk clerk gave us room 204 in the bathroom tub was a large spider on the floor were clippings from some sort of hair Changed rooms to 212 things seemed ok till the next day we noticed bed bugs. Went to the desk clerk and checked out didn’t even stay the night. Didn’t even get a refund drove home before we entered our house we stripped out of our clothes in the garage and showered. Found numerous bed bugs on many items that we had. We had to remove...

"This is the dirtiest, old hotel I have ever stayed in. The place is literally falling apart. Broken furniture, dirty chairs. Furniture chipped and falling apart. The food was bad . They need to condemn the building. Cracks in ceiling and walls. Horrible."

"Reserved a room on Expedia because my ac went out - when I arrived was told my reservation was going to be cancelled because this location “doesn’t rent to locals”. After the front desk staff got permission from the hotel manager to let me stay, I was put in a room where the ac only minimally worked and the toilet ran, making “whooshing” sounds every 30 seconds. Will NOT be staying here again or recommending family and friends to stay here."

"Arrived and had had reserved a room with two beds. This seemed to be a problem right away, was eventually given one. I asked about the pool and it was out of order and had been awhile. I only stay in hotels with pools as it's much needed after a long motorcycle day. I was told I should have called and asked - my reply maybe update your website if it's been down a while. Then we have another hotel guest hiding in the lobby to avoid the police who sho were trying to arrest him for domestic assault"

"Beautiful restored home, beds were so comfortable. Quick drive to st Joe museums and downtown. Owner is super nice guy. We had a mix up with Expedia over the nights planned and he fixed it quickly."
