Old style Balinese hotel, well maintained. Staff are super friendly and helpful and any requests actioned immediately. Beautiful beach, comfy sun loungers. A peaceful and tranquil hotel right in the centre of north Sanur. Would definitely choose this hotel again without doubt.

A beautiful hotel, with wonderful staff that clearly enjoyed their work and maintained a high standard of service. Clean, spacious room, decorated with native flowers on arrival as a welcoming touch. As frequent travellers, my partner and I remember this as our most enjoyable hotel stay to date.

I only stayed a short time, arriving very late at night and leaving the next morning. However, I could not have been more impressed with my short stay. The late night arrangements were simple and a very nice night porter met me. The room was so gorgeous as was the outdoor shower, toiletries provided and outside space. They were so thoughtful with anti mozzie measures. The breakfast team are utterly charming and their breakfast, with fruit, sweet treats and eggs, with spinach on the rosti...

Absolutely beautiful. Putting the grounds /architecture / rooms aside, the staff deserve the highest rating. They are incredible

Everything about this hotel is exceptional

Great location within easy access to the airport. Easy check-in. Clean and spacious room. Good air-con. Clean and well-presented throw-out our stay. The food was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. The quiet adults only pool was lovely and peaceful and we were well looked after by their team of staff. The additional activities were well explained. The check-out was easy. In all it was a lovely stay at the Meru. We will recommend this to our friends. Thanks to all.

New hotel with high quality rooms - lots of space and beds and towels especially luxurious. Perhaps could have chairs on the balcony to also enjoy that space. Helpful and friendly staff plus the French manager is also present and she shows genuine interest in your experiences at the hotel. Central location in Sanur - close to beach, plus a range of restaurants and bars.We also borrowed bikes from the hotel (free of charge) - a great way to see the whole length of Sanur along the beachside path....

My wife and I had a fantastic holiday and celebrated our wedding anniversary in style. The setting and villa were perfect, staff friendly and always ready to help. The food was superb especially for my wife as she is a vegetarian. Well away from the main tourist area but easily accessible when required by use of the hotel driver. We loved it.

Wonderful place, excellent location but away from main street, just a short stroll to shops, bars and Sanur beach. Superb room,very friendly staff, good choice for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing place -- so much more than expected. Staff were extremely friendly and service was second to none (bringing breakfast to the room etc, and it was delicious). The villa was huge, as was the pool, and absolutely beautifully done. nothing quite like waking up with a pool at the end of your bed in the sunshine ! The hotel's shuttle/free taxi to Sanur was great, available whenever needed and unlike some hotels it ran until 11pm giving plenty of time to have dinner and drinks out.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early February. What stands out about this boutique hotel is the total attention to detail. It is rare that the pictures displayed on a website match reality. But the reality is actually better. Staff are vigilant and yet not intrusive, often offering free ginger water while we lazed by the pool. The location of this hotel is fantastic,away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and Kuta. Most places to visit eg Ubud, Kuta Beach, monkey forest were about 1 hour away. Hospitality at the hotel was superb and the range of food offered at the hotel restaurants is varied. There is wide range of options for breakfast however quite limited for vegetarians with the hot food selection. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. The Southern area of Bali is quite built up and everything is cheek by jowl but the hotel is close enough to the chaos to be able to enjoy it and then step back into the peace and calm that the hotel provides. The beach is just a 2 minute bike ride away. (The bikes are provided by the hotel for free). Everything is BEST here!!! Hotel staff, room amenities, cleanliness, pool everything is BEST! I highly recommend this hotel. Location is nearby to beach and nearby to local market. Restaurant is quite expensive in this property... It was a very pleasant stay here for us.
