B&B in County Cork

"Right downtown and near pubs, restaurants, shopping centre, and the major pedestrian shopping streets. The stairs up can be as much as 5 flights, old and narrow. City noise is prominent but you are choosing this place for the location right downtown. Staff was very friendly. No onsite breakfast but it’s because you have so many restaurants nearby. Bear in mind that if you plan to walk into the town the road has no pavement to walk on and it's a classic Irish L road with two directional traffic on a narrow road. They do provide high vis jackets for safety but rather than walk in we ended up driving. There really isn't much in Baltimore either but the surrounding area is spectacular especially Mizen Head. "

"Where to start? Simply the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Josephine and Barry are amazing hosts. Greeted like old friends and offered a drink while we chatted in the lovely communal lounge with them. It's about a 25 minute walk into the lovely town of Bantry along safe pavements all the way there and back. The room was amazing. "Marion, our host, could not have been more helpful or welcoming. It genuinely felt as if we were family friends staying with her. We arrived really late after a delayed ferry and she was very accommodating and helpful in every way. Our room was clean and comfortable with a really beautiful view.
