"Air conditioning was a life saver. The rooms were great for price. Could maybe upgrade the mattress as some of the bunk bed mattresses were a bit thin, otherwise adequate enough for short stays. But overall it was a great place to stay. "

Another great advantage was how close the hotel was to all the attractions in Airlie Beach. I had everything within easy reach. I truly hope to return one day! Highly recommended!"

"We had an amazing stay at Waters Edge! The location was perfect, an easy 4 min walk (walking with young children) to the shops, grocery store and about 8 minutes to the lagoon. The resort is at the bottom of a steep hill and we were thankful we didn’t have to walk up it! The folks at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The pools were beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed! "

"Our six night stay in October 2025 was just wonderful. Steve and Helen were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. One highlight was the balcony which added to the relaxation. The motel's location was excellent, adjacent to the main shopping and restaurant street and going through to the Lagoon using a private access gate. The lagoon pool and surrounds were lovely and again another highlight. Cheers Gill and Bill."

"We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Garden View apartment. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Loved being so close to the pool. Marina Shores is a 20 minute walk from Airlie Beach town centre but what a beautiful walk it was. Laura"
