A real adventure—sleeping in a beautiful cave room was unforgettable! The breakfast was fantastic, and the people were so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the design of the room kept the history alive. Plenty of great restaurants around, all within walking distance. We would love to come back again!"

"Optimal location if you want to be close to the confines of the ZTL if arriving by car. Parking is tricky but we were lucky to find free street parking a few minutes away. this was by far the best option to be close to the Sassi but also easy to access the main roads leaving Matera. We were very happy with our stay. There was a private event for 2 nights so we were not able to enjoy the Terrace in the evening - but we had dinner elsewhere so it was ok. They were kind to give us a welcome drink...
"I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. "Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again."
