"The property was amazing and great value for money. It is on the edge of the Sassi and you only have to go a few metres to see the most spectacular views. The facilities were modern and clean and the staff/owner were very friendly, helpful and hospitable.
There is also a bus stop very close in proximity which makes it easy to reach the main coach stops in the main town if you don’t fancy the scenic walk

If driving to Matera hotel will arrange a parking location outside of the property (very safe) will arrange pick up and drop off the parking location. Very well organized. "I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. "Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again."
