"They charge a resort fee that was never disclosed. What’s surprising is that there isn’t actually a resort on the property, just an old gym. They also charge guests to store their luggage on the day of departure, which is something I’ve never encountered before. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful."

"We loved this hotel! I didn’t realize we were walking into such a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. We loved all the amenities they offered and even took a free breath work class. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were beautiful. The next time I visit NYC, I will definitely be staying here again."

"The room was fantastic! It was clean and well-appointed. Appeared to be newly renovated. There was construction, so there were periods of noise but not at night. I felt safe here inside the room but the area outside was a little interesting. I would recommend to stay off Canal and walk a parallel street if walking. The staff was working under stressful conditions considering the construction but they were not very friendly and actually somewhat bordering rude. However, that could just be New York. The employee handling the luggage and parcels was polite and helpful and was a hard worker."
