"We only booked for one night as it was close to Alton Towers but could quite happily have stayed longer. Chalet was really cute, nicely decorated and really clean. Milk, water and orange juice in the fridge was a nice touch (after our long drive it was nice to have a cup of tea that isn’t made from longlife milk 😬). Owner was really friendly and made us both feel welcome. He made us pancakes for breakfast as we aren’t big fans of a full English first thing….It was the BEST pancake ever....

"Everyone at this facility were polite and helpful. Many useful things and places nearby, such as a big store with everything you need and want (grocery, electronics, cooking ware, and more). Only 2 - 3 blocks away, pedestrian friendly path to barber shops, restaurants, bar, pubs, coffee shops, and an indoor mall about 5 - 6 blocks away from hotel. Walking paths on the Trent River and more. Motorhead (Lemmy fans) can go to a statue in Burslem, a little bit north of the hotel as well....

"Comfortable room though it took a little while to find a plug socket to use... Check-in was seamless, friendly staff. Good breakfast if somewhat limited (no fried egg for example). Easy to find from the M6."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, even after a 2am fire alarm ! ( not their fault !) Beat continental breakfast I've ever had, a massive selection where you couldn't fail to find great choices. As a coeliac i was well catered for at dinner too. Beautiful location. "

"The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive."

"Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent and couldn’t fault it. Check-in was spot on—friendly, genuine, and brilliant with our kids (colouring pack + cookies went down a treat). Room was spacious with sofa beds already set up, which made life easy straight away. Breakfast was excellent—loads of choice and constantly topped up. Just book ahead as it gets busy. Great for families. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed in a double room for the purposes of visiting Alton Towers. The location was perfect being about 40 minutes away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a private shower and toilet. No tv but this was fine. Downstairs had a communal kitchen and seated area which was clean. I only used facilities to make a cup of tea. Joseph (manager) was welcoming, friendly and was always nearby to answer any questions. £20 refundable deposit was required for the room key. Fireworks went...

" This is a budget hotel and extremely good value for the low price I paid. Some very good points... Room fairly spacious, warm radiator, lots of hot water, safe place to park the car, pretty central as just off the M6, unlimited supply of coffee tea milk and sugar, easy to operate small TV adequate size for the room, bed very comfortable . The staff were very helpful and efficient. Negative points are few but relate to bathroom in particular. Needed a good clean in some areas and older fittings...
