"It had been 6 years since last stay at UES Courtyard Marriott. A very pleasant surprise upon entering! An open and updated lobby.Very easy check in. Very impressive housekeeping staff. Rooms were also updated. While there is no restaurant on site, there was a variety of food and beverage offerings. "

"Staff were all very nice and helpful. The rooms were very poorly maintained and honestly more aligned with a two star hotel. "

"We were excited to stay here, but this hotel is just okay. My family has eaten downstairs at Friedman's many times because it is a safe and delicious gluten free restaurant, and we thought it would be fun to stay at the hotel with its old-timey charm. The rooms were typically small, which was not a problem or a surprise. What surprised us was that they were not well appointed. There was no furniture in the room other than two beds and one nightstand. Zero place to put down your things other than the floor. This made for an awkward/uncomfortable stay with things on the bed or piled on our suitcases. Bathroom was extremely tiny as well, though seemed to have been somewhat recently renovated. For the money, I will look elsewhere next time."

"Good location but no frills. No coffee or kettle in the room. Very small bathroom with shelf hanging over the sink that made it difficult to wash up. Charged $4/bag to hold them for a few hours after checkout. $15 credit at the market was a nice perk though. "

"Wonderful cleaning and staff. Amenities in room a bit lacking--no water boiler except for the coffee-thing and no refrigerator, even tiny. It's not a joy to be given plastic cups instead of glasses. But this was my second stay and I will probably return."
