"We were there for one night, room and bed were comfortable, only issue is that like many UK hotels there is no air conditioning so the room is hot at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. "
"A beautiful property with quaint gardens within the grounds. Room was for four of us, we had a double bed and a bunk. It was a small room but perfect for us. Bright, airy, and clean with an ensuite shower. Breakfast was included and was a great selection of hot, fresh fruit, cereals with coffee and juices. "We stayed at The Doghouse Inn for two nights with my partner and our dog, and we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and quick. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed, and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our dog was treated like a guest too, which we really appreciated. "We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
