"When I got there my room was not ready. Chris was amazing. My fridge was very small. I asked for ocean view didn’t get it. I was looking at a wall. My luggage came at 3pm my room wasn’t ready till 4pm. When it was time for check out there was no staff in the front desk. The staff member didn’t show up to work. There was 15 people waiting to checkout. Due to no staff everyone had to care their luggage to the boat. I rate this place a 3 out of 5."

"Location was top tier. Very walkable to all of the prime spots that you would want to see in Avalon. The bar/restaurant that is in the hotel is also a nice amenity that you can enjoy, facing the beach side."

"We had a great experience at the Aurora Hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop lounge area was very well-kept with a great view of the town and bay. The best part however, was the staff! The staff was super friendly, well-informed, and very easy to talk to. They put on wonderful welcome wine and cheese tastings and breakfasts for the weekend. "This hotel is a 7/10 or 8/10, it is not modern/updated but it is good if you’re just sleeping there. It’s right by where everything is. I stayed for two night. They let us leave our baggage in a room before checking out and then again after checking out until our ferry arrived. The staff were really sweet. We had a fire drill? Or a fire false alarm in the middle of the night which was strange. There’s only stairs , we got second floor so it wasn’t bad at all for us. I do think the hotel is great...

"If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Do NOT stay here unless you wants bugs all over you. We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights. On the first night there was a spider but we did not think anything of it. On the last night we took a closer look after 3 jumping spiders appeared on the wall and ceiling . the room was INFESTED. Multiple jumping spiders on the walls and the floor. We got bit all over our legs and arms. I'm assuming the bugs were crawling in through the gaps in the doors and...

"We went for my wife’s birthday. Jackie was very helpful and nice, she arranged to have roses in the room for my wife. The room was nice and had everything we needed. Avalon is a small town so everything is close and the Snug Harbor Inn is right in the middle of it all. I would recommend it to anyone."
