I had the best experience at Terrazas Hotel Boutique. Their exceptional hospitality, and a safe and secure environment were the best parts. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The continental breakfast offered was just enough to start the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in Cartagena. The room was great — really big and clean. The place is perfectly located right in front of the Clock Tower. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can get a bit noisy at night, so light sleepers might notice it. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, and we were happy to stay here.

Great place to stay in Cartagena just a few steps away from the walled city center. Good view of the city center tower area from hotel room balcony. Felt very safe. Attentive staff. Hotel is on the 5th floor. Guard on the 1st floor let's you in and you take the elevator up to the 5th floor. Room was clean and good breakfast.

A great little hotel with an unlikely location on the fifth floor of a tall, modern building in the heart of Cartagena’s walled historic centre. Our room - standard with king bed - was extremely spacious and included a balcony that looked over the main, “clock tower” square. I really don’t think the location could have been any better. The continental breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely, helping out even when our flight from Medellín was diverted to another city, while the hotel’s driver waited at Cartagena airport! The music emanating from clubs in said square can be heard late into the night, but never affected our sleep. I’m not sure if this was just an Expedia perk, but we had free transfers to and from the airport, too. All in all an excellent value. Tourist tips: 1) make sure to include Getsemaní in your wandering around the beautiful old city; 2) If you are planning to spend a day at a beach club but are put off by the high price of some, try Pink Mango, about half the price of some widely recommended clubs and, despite a beach that’s a little rocky in parts, a great, peaceful experience. The food was also excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.

Loved the property and its location, very friendly staff/Julie and host/Mary and Lety. The place had an amazing view to the clock tower and the port. Everything, including restaurants, shops, museums, etc was within walking distance. The place was clean, modern/new, and comfortable.
