"Beautiful ocean view and gorgeous beach area. Extremely helpful and cordial staff. Entertainment at night in outdoor setting and loved the Sizzle restaurant night particularly, along with a great buffet brunches. Well run and well done! Arranged a highly recommended catamaran cruise with Tamiani too"
"The room was fine, clean etc. we did have an issue with the door lock, it wouldn’t unlock, but fortunately the hotel staff came to the rescue and repaired the door lock. The features were fine and we had no complaints. This is my favorite Barbados hotel, and when I return next time the Accra will be my first choice."
"Mixed bag with this Hilton, which is in a superb location and has reasonably good amenities. The reception staff are good, but overwhelmed at certain times of day with long queues waiting to be attended to. Food in the restaurants was extremely good but a little on the pricey side. When restaurants were quiet the service was exceptionally good, but became a problem again at busy times. Pool areas, bars and beach all good, in lovely setting. We had a flood in our bathroom/room and while it was attended to it took 45 minutes for a maintenance person to come and nearly 3 hours for a room cleaner to attend by which time we had been forced to mop everything up ourselves. Compensation of $100 given, but not really the point given the disruption and time taken to deal with it. Overall impression is a very nice hotel, good amenities and staff, but possibly a problem with understaffing which impacts on service given. "
"This poor old manor needs a major facelift. She way past her prime. The staff was very nice but that’s really where the good ended. The grounds need a major manicure, the building is in disrepair and really needs to be closed for a major renovation. The restaurant is extremely expensive and very small portions. 3 silver dollar pancakes $9US. The pool “area” needs to have a more dedicated area. The loungers were just set in a shared grassy area. Not very relaxing. For a night before a cruise it would work, but for anything longer I’d stay somewhere else. It’s very far from any decent restaurants or the beach. A taxi each way is $25 Barbados. I’d pick somewhere else next time. "
