"We were booked for 2 nights at this property. It is quite near to the Bowness pier and the shops and restaurants. The rooms are spread across cottages and rooms in the main building with reception and restaurant/bar in a separate building. Even though near the centre it is quiet. Staff is great and welcoming! Good breakfast options. The hot breakfast is cooked on order and rest is in a buffet. All in all very comfortable stay and location can serve as a base for exploring other parts of Lake District. "

"The staff were lovely The public toilets were very smelly. The rooms needed tlc especially bathrooms Horrendously uncomfortable bed and pillows. Strong smell of cleaning fluid"
