The room was spotlessly clean, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The quality of the meals served at the restaurant was also extremely high, and I was very satisfied. I couldn't visit the adjacent Somerset Museum as it was closed, but I look forward to seeing it on my next visit."

"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "I have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. You get a real welcoming ‘local pub’ feel when you go in. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fantastic-large portions and a good choice on the menu. Sunday roast is great too!! Rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. Only issue was tv was set with a reminder to change channel spoke to staff they thought it was rectified but happened for second night not an issue as stay was relaxing and enjoyable. "
