"Good location for missing beach"

"Positive points: -Room (bed sheets, bathroom) looked super clean. -Breakfast included was very decent comparing to other hotels -The area is great, a lot to see and do within a short walk Negative points: -They charged us $45 for parking and it was full, we ended parking at the next block parking (also property of the hotel) far away from our room and had to walk up so much stairs back and fort every time -Room smelled terrible like old house -Beds were super unconfortable and noisy every time you move, wasn't able to rest at all -3rd day there was a water outage and when we called the front desk to report it the lady taking the call sounded really annoyed like she was the one not able to take a shower I would not recoomend to stay here if you have another choice with sane budget "

"The pool was okay, but the sauna was a green color and had horrible odor."

"Pool was nice and close big pool was also nice could use a cleaning around drains and be stricter on pet policy some lady brought her dog Into pool which should’ve been enforced. Prices are steep bag of chips $5 at the store. Place is really nice. Staff is super friendly. "

"I would NOT recommend staying at Heritage Inn in San Diego. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The room was dirty and looked nothing like the photos online. To make matters worse, we actually caught cockroaches on video crawling in our shower, completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting. On top of that, the neighbors were extremely loud, blasting music late into the night. When we called the front office to report it, the gentleman who answered seemed completely uninterested and disregarded our request to contact them again to turn the music down. There was no effort made to address the issue or make our stay more comfortable. Another confusing and frustrating aspect was that the hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly, yet their “golden rule” states that pets cannot be left unattended in the room or you risk being kicked out. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where you weren’t allowed to briefly leave your pet in the room. While I would never leave my pet all day, it would have been nice to step out for an hour to enjoy dinner. I even came prepared with a kennel and a camera for safety and monitoring. They did allow it this one time after I brought up my concern, but it still didn’t feel very pet-friendly in my opinion. Overall, the entire experience was far from what we expected. Between the unsanitary room, cockroaches, noisy neighbors, confusing pet policy, and lack of customer service, we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave early."
