"It is a dated hotel but the rooms were big and the staff amazing. I found the staff and room size more than made up for the age. We used the restaurant for breakfast and that also was a great breakfast location. The location is not only close tu USC but also to downtown."

"Rooms are very simple, clean, well kept with tiny bathroom, pillows are what you would get at motel but otherwise nice bedding. It’s all decent. What you pay for above the average room is a fancy lobby."

"This place was awesome. Really unique perfect for couples. My brother and I booked it by accident but it was really cool. Staff was awesome and extremely helpful. The breakfast was killer. They had cream cheese and bagels with salmon, pastries, eggs bacon and sausage. Also can order ala cart items from the bar."

"The room itself was great; however, one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the pool and jacuzzi amenities. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was closed for the duration of our stay, and this was never communicated to us at check-in. Additionally, although check-in was listed as after 4:00 PM and we were told our room would be ready, we did not receive access until after 5:00 PM. We were also not provided with basic information, such as where the pool was located, and only found out by asking a staff member in passing. The check-in agent was not very welcoming and appeared disengaged. We initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming it may have been an off day; however, during check-out, the same lack of customer service was evident. When we inquired about possible compensation due to the jacuzzi being unavailable and not disclosed, we were told there was nothing that could be done and no one else we could speak with. Overall, the lack of communication and customer service was disappointing and impacted our experience."

"Could not get key card to rooms because machines were down. Tried to check in at 3:30 pm before going to dodger stadium and could not check into room or get bags to room or even freshen up before going out. I did not return till 12:30 am. I told the check in desk when they asked how my trip was. Paid over 200 for night to just sleep and shower in the morning."

"The staff were excellent and treated me well. The hotel was clean, well kept and welcoming. The coffee shop is in the front of the hotel which makes it easy to get coffee and something to eat. The Polo Loco across the street is good too. The room was clean, the bed was nice, the internet was easy to connect to, and the service was excellent. The neighborhood is very urban which can't be changed, but the owners/operators definitely do their best. Thank you for the taking care of me while at your hotel. "
