"Lots of space, perhaps a bit more than we needed, but perfect for an overnight stopover. Very friendly hosts. "

"Enjoyed our 1 night stay with Jenny and Ken. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Nice little spot to sit outside in their glorious garden, which must keep them very busy. A couple of friendly cats in the main part of the house. It is a 20 minute walk, or short drive into Geraldine with it's restaurants and cafes. Barkers (the jam people) have a store and café there. "Nice room, but definitely an older property. Basically no water pressure in the shower for the hot water setting. Within walking distance of the few shops and restaurants this tiny town has to offer. I let the owner know I likely wouldn’t make it during the check-in window and they arranged for me to settle in after hours with no issues. "

"We chose Alpine Burke’s Pass for our recent trip, and while the location was convenient—only a 20-minute drive to Lake Tekapo—the stay itself ended up being a disappointment for us. "We had such a great stay! The hotel was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing and one of our favorite parts. The bed was super comfy, and the location was perfect — an easy walk to everything. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The place was very clean, but there were these awful throw covers on the couches. They were badly worn and we were afraid to look under and see what they covered. The furniture was also very uncomfortable. These units are also very close together, so you have to pull all of the drapes for privacy. No outdoor furniture on the patio. Glad we only stayed one night. "
