Had the worst experience during 2 nights stay with kids. We booked a cabin thinking it’ll be a nice tranquil place but backpackers in caravans partied loud well beyond mid night first night. They didn’t pay attention upon request. Next night got worse with music played till 4am. I had to go ask them to stop multiple times. At 4am I threatened to call police and only then they stopped. There was no one to contact from the management. Never stay there if you are with kids.

Great place to stay, close to town. Lake was directly out front. Short walk to activities. Only negative was no hanging space inside for clothes. Handy having washing machines but I thought a hire fee for an air dryer (clothes horse) was not needed

チェックインがスタッフ不在の時間になってしまったが、名前入りの封筒に施設の場所などもマークした地図を準備してくれていて、迷わず部屋に着くことができた。事前に預かってもらった荷物も運んでおいてくれた。 部屋には十分な食器と鍋があり、またシャワー室も清掃が行き届き清潔だった。

The place overlooks Lake Tekapo. It is hard to see the full lake from the cabin because there are trees blocking it, but if you walk a few minutes down, you can get stunning views of the lake. The place also has a no partying rule and complete quiet after 10:30pm. It is not very friendly for travelers without cars as the reception area is a 5-10 mins walk away and the roads are a bit rocky on some parts.

Tiny home right on the lake came with everything you would need for a short stay. Fireplace was a great addition for winter. Amenities were close by and the park was easy to navigate.

Second time stay at the family bach, first time in summer and now in winter. Never disappoint! Despite having no tap water on the first night due to record breaking temperature that froze the taps! Staff was very transparent about the whole situation and offered us water to get through the night. Also very helpful and guided us where is safest to park with all the snow around and they clear the roads in the morning for traffic. Best to drive between 10am - 4pm in snow days. Snow chains are not needed but we were told it's a must to have them in car and know how to install if needed. Beautiful views from the house, short stroll to the lake and hot springs. 20 minutes walk to the shops. Towels, bedding, hairdryer and kitchen utensils are provided. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

No washing towels and no tissue papers inside the room for customers. No night light, had to share toilet and bathroom with many other travelers including some very noisy young children who were runing between toilets, bathrooms, and kitchens. Had to walk a long way to the public toilets and bathrooms which was a nightmare especially during a dark night (we felt lucky that was not raining during midnight when I and my wife went to the public restroom). There were not clothes hooks inside the bathroom either.

The location was fabulous, facing the lake with a fantastic view of the sunrise. The cabin was small but very well kitted out w a small pantry that had everything required to make a meal. It was also close enoigh to walk to the supermarket, the main Tekapo village as well as Tekapo Springs. Absolutely enjoyed ourselves.

I was offered a standard cabin probably I made an error booking a standard cabin within private ensuites and I had to walk at least 100 m to kitchen/toilets so I was offered an ensuite which was lots better

Excellent Stay with Unbeatable Views! We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Everything about the park was excellent, from the warm and professional staff to the incredibly well-maintained facilities. The location is perfect—just a short, scenic walk into town and right next to the springs.
