"When booking I did not realize I had booked a shared bathroom, tried to have it upgraded and the company did not help. The bathroom was cleaned everyday but still seemed to be gross sharing with strangers. The rooms have absolutely no AC in the cabin we were at and that was not well said when booking. "The lodge is just outside the town of Monteverde. It consists of a series of cabins on the middle of the forest with glass façades that allow you to see the jungle from the comfort of your bed. Our cabin was spacious it had 2 floors with a smaller bed on the upper floor for our kid. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable.
