"This is an older hotel, but they keep it very clean and the beds were comfy. The only pleasant staff was the pool entertainment guy and the house keeping. A smile and good morning goes a long way. The towel girl was horrible. As for food, it was mediocre. If this hotel made a few improvements it would be way better. The best part was the location. Beautiful beach."

"Overall Baha mar is a beautiful place with beautiful pools, beach, hotel rooms. Plenty to do for kids as well as adults. What is terrible is the service. It is almost impossible to get any type of service wether it’s housekeeping, bar, dinner, or pool service. It is evident why: There is an automatic 15 percent service charge on every bill. For this reason no one at the hotel actually cares to be efficient or provide good service. People don’t smile. I sort of get it. If I was already getting my tip and the most I was going to get on top is an extra 5-10 percent, I wouldn’t have an incentive to service. You will hear the employees talking about guests etc. Overall however people will still come because the pools, waterpark, and beach are excellent. If you can get by without good service still a good place to come to."

"Definitely enough things to do with the kiddos and family all together. Staff was super friendly and food was delicious although a little to much $$$$ for the food for sure :). But overall we will be coming back again. Only recommendation is to make any reservations you want before you get there."

"When we arrived to the hotel, the lobby smelled like a sewage. We were not served any drinks upon arrival. The receptionist, Wilbur, who checked us in did not explain the resort amenities, restaurants, nor inform us about reservations for dinner. I had a rude server during dinner at the Bahama steakhouse restaurant. The bar tenders were extremely friendly, as well as the showtime workers. The hotel room itself was very clean. Food met my expectations."

"We had a great time here , our room was always clean , the amenities were clean and relaxed also the have a private beach which is perfect because is not packed and there’s always chairs to enjoy the beach . "
