"A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. "Excellent hotel stay I had in recent Years. Best location. Lovely sea view Rooms. Superb swimming pool spa facilities. Lovely staff at every point of your stay. Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. "It seemed to have all that we needed, apart from a draining board, and was in a very good location. However we were surprised to find on returning to the flat on two nights that someone had taken up residence in the doorway.. He was very polite about it and caused no trouble. "

"What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape."
