"Clean, comfortable rooms with an amazing breakfast buffet. Views from rooms where amazing. Close to airport. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms a bit dated and pool area could use a refresh but overall a great stay. This made our canceled flight experience a bit better :-)"

"When I arrived a gentleman came from the restaurant attached next door to give me my key, but my name wasn’t on his printed list. After a long phone with somebody else call he gave me key and I was able to get to a room. He was very friendly and invited me over for dinner. The room was very basic but clean, exactly what I needed. The location was pretty good, but make sure you book a taxi ahead of time if you have an early flight!"

"We were forced to book this hotel last minute due to a cancelled flight and no other options. It was incredibly expensive and not worth the cost. The hotel is very old and outdated and the wifi does not work. We were able to check in late and the room was clean but I would not stay there again for that price. Definitely taking advantage of low inventory on the island"

"Stayed here for a week during my recent solo travel to Madeira, and aside from the friendly staff, the clean facilities and the included daily buffet-style breakfast, the convenience of its location was what stood out for me the most: it's somehow both in a quiet neighbourhood and less than 10 minutes of walk away from the seaside and the marina, probably 5 minutes away from many local, non-touristy dining options and shops. For travellers who prefer or are used to extras like on-site massages...

"The location of the hotel was great for walking around but not easy to access via car. The breakfast seemed like a standard among all the hotels we stayed at in Portugal. Our first room has a broken shower that would flood the bathroom. We were able to switch rooms after a few days into a room that had another broken shower. Disappointing. The bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor. Definitely not orthopedic."
