"The room is well set up, and had toiletries available (shampoo, conditioner, body wash & body moisturiser). The location is great as well, a short walk to the beach, close to the motorway and an easy walk to Takapuna."

"First time booking this place and I loved it! it had everything I needed. Room was cozy and comfy. Came with milk and tea which was lovely. Shower was amazing with great pressure. There was a perfect view of the sky tower so I was able to watch the fire works on NYE. Then Dinner at gladstone was another added bonus. The fact that you dont have to go round and round for parking is also another added bonus. Would totally stay here again! thank you so much -"

"The room was clean and tidy and the right size for two people. All the staff were good. The breakfast hot/cold buffet had a good selection and was nice. Although our first hot breakfast was cold. We told the restaurant staff and we didn't have another cold breakfast. "

"I had a great stay at Alexander Inn. The service was excellent and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was perfect and very convenient. I especially want to mention how honest and kind the housekeeping staff were — after I checked out, I realized I had left some jewellery behind, and they carefully saved it for me so I could pick it up. I’m very grateful for their integrity and care. I would happily stay here again...

"Really quick check in. Great staff in all areas. Helpful, friendly and willing to take time necessary to address questions. Tub/shower combo might be difficult for some as high step in and no grab bars on walls. Location good. Nice area to walk, short walk to waterfront. Would be happy to stay again if we return. Only one other comment, we could not get the same deal on the hotel/IHG website - expedia offer was superior, but we were in a rush and it was a last minute booking due to flight...

"Hotel was spotless and staff extremely friendly. Only 2 issues.. no body wash in the dispenser and no parking available, despite being told it should not be an issue for us. Breakfast was just Ok.. was not hot and things like backn and sausages cit into 3rds to eke out. Would stay at the hotel again but grab a fresh breakfast in the city "
