"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). Top Alwington Hotel Reviews

The Cedars Inn by Greene King Inns

8/10 Good

"Easy check in. Good size room, pub with food on site, good value for money"

The Royal Hotel

8/10 Good

"On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."

The Dilkhusa Grand Hotel By Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good

"The hotel is a bit dated but the welcome was very warm and helpful, the room was clean, we literally wanted somewhere to sleep for the night and we only paid £59 for a large double room - could have paid slightly extra for a better view but we really didn't need that - we arrived in the dark and left early. Staff very friendly and helpful recommending places to eat etc."

The Beach at Bude

10/10 Excellent

"Always a wonderful experience when I stay here on business. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are large and airy with everything you need for a one night stay. Breakfast is also delicious. Only downsides are the limited parking and there could be a little more selection on the in room tea and coffee choices such as hot chocolate sachets and herbal tea bags."
